Owner of a furniture factory located on the English Way, in the parish of Bañobre, Miño, after observing the growing number of pilgrims, she came up with the idea of creating a small area with a free water fountain where they could rest and recharge their batteries. In the wake of the 2020 pandemic and the dramatic drop in furniture sales, Rocío decided on a change of direction and set up a small improvised space on the same site, turning it into a pilgrims’ teashop, a meeting point that serves the best breakfasts on the English Way.
