A pepper grower and President of the PDO “Pimiento de Herbón” growers cooperative, Milagros knows how to spot a hot pepper merely by observing it and rolling her fingers over its fine skin. She defends the Herbón variety as the authentic and original peppers that are known as Padrón peppers as others that are grown in many other places often go by the same name. However, we can vouch for the fact that there is nothing quite like an Herbón pepper.
